Four canoeists, twin brothers Jim and Jack Weiner, Charlie Foltz, and Chuck Rak, reported a hovering luminous craft and missing time during an August 1976 trip on Maine's Allagash Waterway. The case was investigated and published by Raymond Fowler in 'The Allagash Abductions' (1993).
