Iberia Airlines Flight 1284 diverted to Manises after the captain reported a red light closing on the aircraft. Spanish Air Force scrambled a Mirage F-1 from Los Llanos; ground radar confirmed unidentified returns. The Spanish MoD released the report in the 1990s.
