British-American novelist and former Robinson Professor of Shakespeare Studies at the University of North Carolina Charlotte who co-authored the Sekret Machines fiction trilogy with Tom DeLonge. The series uses the historical backdrop of UAP events to construct thriller narratives intended to socialize the UFO topic for a mainstream audience.

Background

Andrew James Hartley was born on August 7, 1964, in Preston, Lancashire, England. He built an academic career in English literature before Tom DeLonge approached him to co-write the Sekret Machines historical thriller trilogy. Their collaboration also produced the standalone novel Trinity (2023).
