Background

Lt. Cmdr. Alex Dietrich is a retired United States Navy aviator who participated in the 2004 Nimitz carrier strike group UAP incident. She was flying in tandem with Cmdr. David Fravor when they visually acquired the anomalous 'Tic Tac' object hovering near a disturbance in the ocean water. Dietrich's key contribution is her corroborating eyewitness testimony, which validated the visual observations made by Fravor from a different tactical vantage point. She has publicly advocated for the destigmatization of UAP reporting among military aviators and commercial pilots. Her objective, measured public appearances have significantly bolstered the credibility of military UAP encounters.
