Eduard Albert Meier, known as Billy, is a Swiss farmer from Hinterschmidrüti who claims to have been in regular contact with extraterrestrial beings he calls the Plejaren since the age of five. His case is notable for the sheer volume of alleged physical evidence produced: thousands of photographs, film footage, metal samples, and audio recordings. Sceptics have argued that much of this evidence is fabricated, while supporters point to analyses they claim could not be easily replicated with 1970s technology. Meier founded the FIGU organisation to disseminate alleged transmissions from his contacts, and his claims remain among the most disputed in the contactee tradition.
