Colm Kelleher

Irish-American biochemist who earned his PhD from Trinity College Dublin and led the National Institute for Discovery Science field team on Skinwalker Ranch from 1996 to 2004. He subsequently served as deputy administrator of Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS), overseeing the Defense Intelligence Agency's AAWSAP contract. Co-authored Hunt for the Skinwalker (2005) and Skinwalkers at the Pentagon (2021) with journalist George Knapp.

Background

Colm Kelleher completed his doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Dublin Trinity College and pursued immunology research in Denver before joining Robert Bigelow's National Institute for Discovery Science. At NIDS he led the scientific investigation of Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. When Bigelow formed BAASS to execute the DIA's AAWSAP contract in 2008, Kelleher served as deputy administrator.
