American rocket scientist and space technology consultant who claims that at age 17 he built an electromagnetically-fueled fusion rocket, was flown to Groom Lake (Area 51) under military escort, and was shown an advanced propulsion device of non-human origin. His accounts have made him a recurring speaker at UFO conferences.

Background

David Adair describes building his first rocket at age 11 and developing an electromagnetic fusion drive concept as a teenager in the early 1970s. He claims that General Curtis LeMay facilitated his access to a classified underground facility at Groom Lake, where he examined an object he describes as a living, symbiotic propulsion system responsive to bio-electromagnetic signals. His story was prominently featured in the 1999 documentary UFOs and Area 51.
