Donna Hare worked as a photographic scientist for Philco Ford, a NASA contractor, in the early 1970s, holding a high-security clearance that gave her access to NASA photo labs and processing facilities. She testified at the 2001 Disclosure Project National Press Club event, claiming that while in the photo lab she was shown an image containing a clearly defined UAP and told by a colleague that airbrushing anomalous objects out of NASA photographs before public release was standard procedure. She stated her willingness to testify before Congress and spent fifteen years working on lunar maps and landing slides for the agency.
