John B. Alexander served 32 years in the U.S. Army, including command of Special Forces teams in Vietnam (1966-69), before retiring as a colonel in 1988 after postings in Army intelligence and advanced concepts research. He holds an MA from Pepperdine University and a PhD from Walden University. His second career centered on Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he helped establish the military's non-lethal weapons program, and on paranormal research connected to Army-sponsored psychic programs.
