Michael Glawson, PhD, is a philosopher, consultant, writer, and podcast host whose work spans philosophy of science, philosophy of technology, philosophy of religion, and ethics. His research examines methods and conceptual tools shared by scientific and religious inquiry and applies philosophical analysis to the ethical and social consequences of technology. His broader professional work includes technology ethics, artificial-intelligence governance, public policy, and global catastrophic risk, and he has taught philosophy at the University of South Carolina, Georgia State University, and the College of Charleston. In UAP studies, Glawson is a member of the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies and has hosted The Anomalous Review since SCU launched the podcast in August 2024. The program presents long-form discussions with scientists, researchers, and former defense and intelligence personnel about UAP evidence, research methods, competing interpretations, and the conceptual problems involved in studying anomalous phenomena. Glawson has also served as a co-host of the UAP Studies Podcast and has written about UAP-related subjects for The Debrief.
