Russian-born American researcher specializing in Soviet and post-Soviet UFO cases, Unidentified Submerged Objects, and anomalous phenomena documented in Eastern European military archives. Born in Kiev in 1959 and emigrated to the United States in 1972, he founded the Russian Ufology Research Center in 1991 and has co-authored several books with British researcher Philip Mantle.
Paul Stonehill was born in Kiev, USSR, and relocated to the United States as a teenager. His 1993 feature in OMNI Magazine brought his work to a mainstream audience. He is the author of The Soviet UFO Files (1998) and Paranormal Mysteries of Eurasia (2010) and has co-authored Russia's USO Secrets with Philip Mantle.
