Prominent British UFO researcher, author, and publisher who has been active in organized ufology since 1979. A former Director of Investigations for BUFORA and MUFON's UK representative from 1988, Mantle has authored and co-authored dozens of books on UAP and alien contact cases, including several with Paul Stonehill on Soviet UFO history. He founded Flying Disk Press.
Philip Mantle joined BUFORA and the Yorkshire UFO Society in 1979. He served as MUFON UK representative from 1988 and collaborated extensively with international researchers, most notably Paul Stonehill on Soviet and Russian UFO archives.
