Belgian author and lecturer best known for the Orion correlation theory linking the Giza pyramid layout to Orion's Belt. He co-authored The Mars Mystery with Graham Hancock and John Grigsby, bringing Egyptian archaeoastronomy and lost-civilization themes into the book's Mars/Cydonia argument.

Background

Robert Bauval was born in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1948 to Belgian and Maltese parents. He worked as a construction engineer before becoming known for The Orion Mystery and later collaborations with Graham Hancock, including Keeper of Genesis and The Mars Mystery.
